York Biotech Campus
MBM Services delivered the mechanical plumbing element of the conversion of a storage unit into a purpose-built research lab at York Biotec Campus.
Plumbing and mechanical services provided as follows:
Isolations, installation and connection of site welfare.
First and second fix of domestic water supply and above ground drainage.
Second fix of sanitaryware.
Installation of water heaters.
Testing and commissioning.
Big Yellow Storage, Various Locations
In the first six months of 2022 we provided commercial mechanical and plumbing services for the fit out of 4 Big Yellow Storage depots in Liverpool and the North East of England. Work has included:
Strip out of existing sanitaryware.
Connection of water supplies and drainage to temporary welfare cabins.
Installation of domestic water services.
Installation of sanitaryware, including DOCM toilet.
Installation of under sink water heaters.
Installation of electric shower.
Hyde Point, Manchester
During summer 2022, MBM services provided mechanical and plumbing services as part of a project to refurbish an industrial facility and offices in Dukinfield.
Work completed as follows:
Water supply installation.
Above ground drainage.
Installation of sanitaryware.
Pressure testing of pipework and certification.
High Definition, Salford Quays
In early 2022, MBM Services completed a plumbing project in the public areas of the High Definition project in Media City, Salford Quays, including toilets and a cafe kitchen.

Oakwell House, Barnsley
Completed in December 2021, MBM services provided commercial mechanical plumbing services for the refurbishment of a 2 storey office building in Barnsley.
Commercial plumbing services were as follows:

Installation of tea point and kitchen
Installation of sanitaryware
Chlorination services.
Grant Thornton, Manchester
MBM Services were instructed to provide the plumbing element of a project in Grant Thornton's new office in a 13k sq ft space within the BREAM Excellent Landmark Building in St Peters Square. We commenced the project in June 2021 and completed the plumbing elements of this fit out and completed this top quality project at the end of September.
Work included the following:
First and second fix of the main entrance coffee bar including insulated cold water supply and an isolation and drain point for chlorination.
First and second fix of the kitchen area and drinks point including: insulated cold water supply to sinks, hot water tap and dishwashers; fitting of waste and connection to the soil system; second fix of water heaters and dishwasher; and installation of an isolation and drain point for chlorination.
First and second fix of cleaners store including: insulated cold water supply; fixing of an isolation and drain point for chlorination; installation of waste and connection to the soil system; and second fix of water heater.
First and second fix of the wellbeing room including insulated cold water supply; fixing of an isolation and drain point for chlorination; fixing of waste and connection for a drain master; and second fix of water heater and WUDU.
