Interactive Investor, Manchester
MBM Services are currently working on the mechanical plumbing element of the fit out of an office building in Manchester City Centre.
Plumbing and mechanical services provided as follows:
First and second fix of domestic water supply and above ground drainage.
Second fix of sanitaryware.
Installation of water heaters.
Testing and commissioning.
The Hive, Manchester
In April 2023, MBM Services was appointed as mechanical contractor to provide plumbing services for the fit-out of two office units on Lever Street in Manchester City Centre. Work comprises installation of first and second fix of two kitchens and central heating works. The following work was completed:
Installation of domestic water services
Installation of sinks and taps
Modifications to central heating pipework
Installation of macerators and macerators installation of four vertical radiators with valves
Installation of under sink water heaters.
Chapel Walks, Manchester
MBM Services was recently commissioned to provide plumbing services as part of a high-specification fit-out of offices across two floors at Chapel Walks in Manchester City Centre.
Work included:
Isolation and strip out of pipework
First and second fix of five tea points and a coffee hub
Installation of water heaters and macerators.
Dr Martens, Camden
In January 2023, MBM Services completed the plumbing element of the fit-out of the new Dr. Martens head office in Camden for one of our longest-standing clients. The logistics of working in London are different to many locations and can often be challenging, however, our excellent team of commercial plumbers completed to our high standards.
Plumbing works included the following:
Domestic water services
Above ground drainage
Installation of sanitaryware
Installation of point-of-use water heaters
Installation of toilets and concealled cisterns
The project involved working with a number of other trades which required co-operation and planning with other contractors to ensure that the project was delivered efficiently and on time.
Thorp Arch Estate, Wetherby
MBM Services delivered the mechanical plumbing and second fix of nine units as part of the expansion of Thorp Arch Estate business park in Wetherby. The project involved the installation of hot and cold water supply, soil vent pipes and drainage to each unit as part of the first fix. The second fix elements included installation of all sanitaryware and water heaters for hand wash basins. The system was chlorinated on completion. The project was successfully delivered over a phased three-month period. Given the scale of the units, a substantial amount of the first fix was undertaken at height and all measures, training and protocols were put in place to ensure the safety of our engineers.
York Biotech Campus
MBM Services delivered the mechanical plumbing element of the conversion of a storage unit into a purpose-built research lab at York Biotec Campus.
Plumbing and mechanical services provided are as follows:
Isolations, installation and connection of site welfare.
First and second fix of domestic water supply and above ground drainage.
Second fix of sanitaryware.
